Russia Pulp Exports Increase 10.9% in First Half of 2015

During the first six months of 2015, the total volume of wood pulp exports from Russia increased by 10.9%, to 988,700 metric tons y/y, according to recently released data by the Federal Customs Service of Russia. Pulp exports from Russia increased by 5.1% in value and totaled some $524.4 million.

Russia shipped 952,200 metric tons of wood pulp (+10.8%) worth $504.1 million (+5.2%) to other countries in January-June 2015, and 36,500 metric tons (+13%) worth $20.4 million (+4.1%) to CIS Countries.
