Georgia Tech, Atlanta, Ga., USA, this week announced the initiation of a suite of graduate education courses designed for the technical professional who desires to pursue a career in operations and technical leadership—for whom the MBA is not the perfect fit. The courses are a hybrid of manufacturing excellence, business, leadership, and technical education in an industry elective—of which the first one is forest bioproducts.

The courses are to be offered primarily online, with just one week per year on campus. They are targeted at the mill engineer with at least one year of experience, and are designed to accommodate the working professional.

The first classes begin Aug. 17, 2015. Fellowships are available. Applications are due June 30, 2015. For further information, please contact Chris Luettgen, director-Industry Strategic Partnerships, at 404-894 6908 as soon as possible.
