BPM, Peshtigo, Wis., USA, announced that the Paper Mill Manager of BPM Inc., Randy Cohorst, has retired from the mill at the end of this past month. Since 1971, Cohorst has been an employee at the Peshtigo based paper mill.

During his more than 40 years with the company, Cohorst held various roles of increasing responsibility at the mill, such as machine room superintendent, with principle objectives to develop and improve manufacturing technologies and consistently implement ways to advance operations. In 2004, Cohorst was promoted to paper mill manager to oversee all manufacturing operations.

"I want to personally thank Randy for his leadership at our mill and positioning the mill for the future," said Jim Koronkiewicz, GM at BPM. "His expertise in papermaking and manufacturing has made BPM who we are today, and we are grateful for his many years of service and dedication."

In a related announcement, Ryan Day has been named mill manager of BPM and will oversee all aspects of the paper manufacturing process of the mill’s paper machines.

"Randy has had a long and very successful career in the specialty and fine paper industry," said Koronkiewicz, "and we wish him and his family the very best wishes in their future plans."
