Since 2011, Castro has been the mill manager at IP’s Springfield, Ore., containerboard mill. In his more than 33 years with the company, Castro has held various roles of increasing responsibility in manufacturing at IP’s Mansfield and Red River, La., containerboard mills and the Springfield mill.

"David has done an outstanding job leading the Springfield team and positioning the mill for continued success," said Roman Gallo, IP’s, VP, Manufacturing, Containerboard-West.
