U.S. 2014 BKP Imports Decline 1.2%

U.S. bleached kraft pulp (BKP) imports in 2014 fell 1.2% y/y to 4.67 million metric tons. Bleached softwood kraft (BSK) imports declined 1% and bleached hardwood kraft (BHK) imports were down 1.4%. The table on the right shows December output and compares 2013 with 2014 U.S. imports of BKP from the world, Canada, Sweden, Finland, and Chile.
