TAPPI's annual IBBC is well known for its peer-reviewed, technical content. Take this opportunity to present your technical accomplishments in research or product applications. As IBBC draws experts and key decision makers in forest biorefineries from around the world, you can obtain great visibility for your company or organization by presenting at IBBC 2015.

We are pleased to announce our new theme for the 2015 IBBC Conference: Leveraging Forest Biomass for the Next Generation of Fuels and Chemicals.

Focused primarily on leveraging assets and feedstocks from within the pulp and paper industry, IBBC is scheduled for October 28-30 in Atlanta, Ga., USA. This is your best opportunity to showcase your latest technical advances, case studies, new techniques and insights.

The conference organizers are seeking abstracts in the following areas:
  • Supply and Demand of Woody and Non-woody Biomass
  • Collecting, Harvesting and Preparation of Biomass
  • Torrefaction and Wood Pellets
  • Thermochemical and Biochemical Conversion Pathways
  • Production of Biochemicals from Biomass
  • Pilot Plant or Demonstration Plant Case Studies
  • Policies and Initiatives for Advancing Biorefinery Projects
  • Business Sustainability
Download the Call for Presentations. Abstracts on other related topics are welcome.

Authors interested in presenting should upload their abstract to TAPPI's Speaker Management System by March 19. Presenters will be notified of acceptance no later than April 16.

For more information, please contact Lisa Stephens at (1)770-209-7313.
Again this year, the IBBC Conference will be co-located with the 2015 PEERS Conference, held October 25-28 in Atlanta. More information about PEERS can be found online.
