The Reporter News, Lansdale, Pa., USA, earlier this week reported that some 60 firefighters responded to the Montgomeryville Industrial Center due to a report of heavy smoke coming from the Mid-Atlantic Packaging Inc. building at the intersection of Commerce Dr. and Enterprise Road in the local Montgomery Township this past Friday evening.

The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m., when police were notified about a fire alarm sounding at the location, Montgomery Township Fire Department Chief Bill Wiegman said. The police, who were the first on the scene, observed heavy smoke coming from the building.

A piece of print processing equipment was found to be on fire. However, what caused the blaze is still under investigation. The building was operating at the time of the fire, but all of the employees made it out safely. No employees or firefighters were injured. Also, no hazardous materials were reported to be involved/released in this incident.
