After 20 years of carefully growing his business into the premier independent provider of yankee services in Europe and Eurasia, Manfred Jäger is ready to expand into the Americas. Jäger cylinder services has announced the launch of its American Yankee Services business. Based in Vancouver, Wash., USA, Jaeger Inc. will offer a full range of yankee services, including grinding, thermal spraying, internal condensate systems, doctoring systems, and engineered solutions.

With more than 1,000 successful projects, Jäger has the experience and know-how to deliver excellence. To build his American team, Jäger has chosen two of the most experienced yankee services engineers with Craig Everson, operations manager, and John Holton, technical manager. Yankee service is Jaeger Inc.’s only business, not a sideline.

Jäger was founded in 1995 with the primary objective of developing, manufacturing, and operating a mobile cylinder grinding machine to enable on-site service without dismantling the cylinder. Since then, Jäger has expanded its services to include diagnostic analysis and general action plans as well as specific services such as coating, rebuilds, and optimization of yankees.

Headquartered in Bodnegg, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany, Jäger services paper, board, and tissue manufacturers to increase their productivity and improve the quality of their raw materials and products.
