Hawk Converting, Tembec Announce New Supplier Program

Hawk Converting, Lewisburg, Tenn., USA, and Tembec, Montreal, Que., Canada, have announced a new supplier program featuring Kallima® Coated Cover. Beginning in 2015, C1S, C1S Plus, and C2S grades of 8 PT to 14 PT will be stocked for quick turn and custom programs. 
 
Hawk Converting provides superior precision paper sheeting for distributors. The addition of the Kallima inventory offers customers just-in-time-delivery. 
 
In making the announcement, Robert Heithaus, who serves as a chief customer officer said that "we truly understand the value of sheet-to-size products for printers in the Southeast. To offer a competitive edge, we have purchased a large roll inventory of a variety of calipers and widths to quickly deliver products into the marketplace. Our long standing partnership and the performance features of Tembec’s Kallima line of products was instrumental in selecting their grades for developing new business and establishing long-term customer relationships."

Hawk Converting specializes in the manufacture and distribution of a wide variety of custom paper products from mill direct rolls, customer programs, and private label services, to the finished printed product. 
 
Kallima Coated Cover products are manufactured by Tembec at its facility located in Temiscaming, Que., Canada. Tembec's lightweight, fully bleached coated board products are used in commercial printing, publishing, prestige packaging, high-impact graphic corrugated containers, point-of-purchase displays and litho-laminated packaging. Kallima products are distributed throughout North America and abroad, with sales offices located in Canada and the U.S.
