Kraft Paper Shipments by U.S. Producers Decline

U.S. kraft paper shipments totaled 115,500 tons in November 2014, 7.7% lower than in October 2014, according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) November 2014 Kraft Paper Report. Bleached kraft paper shipments remained essentially flat compared with October 2014 at 8,600 tons, while unbleached kraft paper shipments decreased from 116,500 tons to 106,800 tons.
Overall, year-to-date shipments in 2014 are 2.8% lower than the same period in 2013. Total month-end inventories increased to 71,500 short tons in November 2014.
