Mexico and India BSK Imports Rise, Brazil BHK Exports Increase

According to PIG Trade Data this week, Mexico and India BSK (bleached softwood kraft) pulp imports are up 25% y/y thru September. Exports of Brazil BHK (bleached hardwood kraft), which is 100% bleached eucalyptus kraft (BEK) pulp, were up 11% during the same period. 
 
The following table shows BSK and BHK pulp import and export volumes for major trading countries during September as well as January-September of this year.
