Two of these students have already accepted full-time positions, which will begin after they graduate next May. Katie Anderson will be working with Solenis, a chemical sales company that provides supplies to paper mills, and Berning will be working as an associate engineer with Domtar Paper.

The scholarships are provided through the generosity of The Bob and Barbara Williams Foundation. Mr. Williams, now retired, has been a force in the global pulp and paper industry as co-founder of the James River Corp. His impact continues to be felt through his encouragement of high leadership standards for graduating engineers.
