ICT Orders Valmet Tissue Machine for K3 Project in Poland

ICT Group, Lucca, Italy, has agreed to terms with Valmet to supply a new 75,000 tpy tissue machine to be located at its Poland mill in the town of Kostrzyn, 80 km east of Berlin, Germany, according to a report by Papnews, Italy. The investment would also be comprised of additional converting equipment and necessary logistic and civil infrastructure to produce and distribute the full range of consumer tissue products to retailers.
 
The new Valmet DCT 200 machine will be an addition to ICT Poland’s first two tissue machines started in 2001 and 2008. The startup date for the new machine remains on track and is estimated to be running by late 2015.
 
ICT Group has production companies in Italy, Spain, Poland, and France. Its current combined capacity is approximately 470,000 metric tpy, with approximately 1,300 employees.
