Box On Demand, Battle Creek, Mich., USA, this week opened its Fort Worth, Texas, facility, which will be dedicated to the production of corrugated fanfold and other corrugated products.  Box On Demand continues to expand its customer base nationwide, and the Fort Worth facility will further enhance its service footprint for Southern U.S. and Mexican customers.

The company notes that fanfold is the preferred format to use for on demand packaging equipment, and the Box On Demand facility utilizes the latest technology to manufacture and ship this material. The new facility will also feature a technology center showcasing its latest machinery and software.

Using Box On Demand, e-commerce, furniture, and manufacturing facilities get perfectly sized boxes for every shipment, minimizing packaging waste and shipping costs. Typical savings are 20% or more, and upcoming dimensional weight changes will make this packaging technology even more valuable in offsetting excess shipping charges, the company added.
