Landaal Packaging Breaks Ground for Expansion in Michigan

Landaal Packaging Systems, Bay City, Mich., USA, last week held a groundbreaking for a $ 5 million, major expansion of its Delta Containers Division in Bay City. The event also celebrated the 50-year partnership between Landaal Packaging and Bay City.
 
"We're excited to renew our commitment to the Bay City area with this expansion in Bay City. The additional manufacturing jobs that accompany this expansion will contribute to the community for years to come," said Landaal Packaging Systems President Steve Landaal.
 
Construction is expected to start immediately on the 66,000 sq. ft. building addition that will house manufacturing, warehousing, and office operations. The facility is expected to be fully-operational by May 1, 2015.

Landaal Packaging Systems is a manufacturer of corrugated, point of purchase displays, contract packaging, sustainable products, and fulfillment services. The company also operates a 316,000 sq. ft. manufacturing and packaging operation in Burton, Mich., and an Innovation Design Center in Flint, Mich.
