UPM Donates EUR 100,000 to New Children’s Hospital in Helsinki

UPM, Finland, will donate EUR 100,000 to the new children’s hospital in Helsinki, Finland. The company said that it sees the importance of this project and wants to carry its responsibility for the future of children and youngsters in Finland.

The New Children’s Hospital 2017 Project aims to raise EUR 30 million via donations from companies, foundations, and private persons to build a new pediatric hospital in Helsinki. The hospital is scheduled to open in 2017, which is the same year Finland celebrates its 100 years of independency.
