Impreglon Cellramic Introduces Corona Treater Rolls

Print Print this Article | Send to Colleague

Impreglon Cellramic, Milwaukee, Wis., USA, a thermal spray provider, has expanded its line of surface enhancement coatings to include ceramic coatings for corona treater rolls. Its P-Series ceramic coatings reportedly have excellent dielectric strength and high hardness, 65 Rc, which protect the rolls’ soft metal surface from corona discharge and surface abrasion, both of which will cause arcing.

Impreglon Cellramic notes that its advantage is the density of the coating, elimination of metal contaminates, and use of its proprietary sealer.

Impreglon develops and applies high-grade surface coatings for both industry and production. Coating combinations designed for specific applications based on fluoropolymers, metals, plastics, ceramics, nanostructures, and powder coatings provide performance attributes that optimize traction properties, corrosion protection, non-stick properties, and resistance to wear of the substrates.
