PaperWeek Canada Attracts Record Attendance

More than 1,100 took part in the 100th Anniversary Edition of PaperWeek Canada February 3-6 at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal, Que., Canada. Organized by PAPTAC, the event has achieved record attendance over the past six years, "confirming its continued growth," the organizers noted.
More than 250 participants from mills were also registered for the event, making it one of the best attended industry events in the world ratio-wise. The PaperWeek tradeshow also was sold out, with nearly 50 exhibitors present to showcase their services and technology.
PaperWeek Canada is the Annual Meeting of the Pulp and Paper Technical Association of Canada. The 2014 edition marked the 100th "meeting anniversary" of the event.
