Jim Henneberry has resigned as CEO at Australian Paper, Victoria, Australia, a member of the Japan-based Nippon Paper Group. Henneberry resigned his position after eight years with the company.

The company noted that Henneberry made the difficult decision to leave Australian Paper to pursue new opportunities outside of the business. His resignation became effective this past Friday, February 14.

In a published statement, Australian Paper said that it "thanks Jim for his dedication and commitment to the company since joining in 2006. We wish him success in the next endeavor."

Until further notice, Hirofumi Fujimori, the representative director of Nippon Paper Industries, is the acting CEO.
