Pine Chemicals Association (PCA) Offers New Short Course on Byproduct Recovery

The Pine Chemicals Association (PCA) is offering a new Short Course on Byproduct Recovery in the spring of 2014.

The Byproduct Recovery course, held March 10-12, is designed for operators, engineers, supervisors and pulp mill managers engaged in pulp mill recovery operations. Subject matter includes:

  • Basic operational techniques and keys to efficiency in each of the recovery processes
  • Safety in storage and transportation
  • Test methods, typical yields, and common problems and solutions.

Our Instructors are recovery specialists from CTO and CST fractionation companies. They will address both continuous and batch digester processes, in addition to continuous and batch CTO acidulation systems. There will be time set aside at each session for Q & A to address specific mill problems.
