Leaders Need to be Recognized

Print Print this Article | Send to Colleague

Every day we come across great people in the pulp and paper industry. Many don’t get the recognition they deserve. If can think of someone who has made outstanding contributions, nominate them for a PIMA award or encourage a colleague to do so. There are several categories, from executive to community leaders. Descriptions of the PIMA awards are available online. The awards are:
  • PIMA Executive of the Year
  • Mill Manager of the Year
  • PIMA Student of the Year
  • Brookshire Moore Superintendent of the Year
  • Ray H. Cross Community Service Award
  • Delano L. "Del" Boutin Division Service Award
  • Thomas F. Sheerin Sr. Service Award.

The deadline for nominations is December 10, and the awards will be presented at PaperCon 2014 or a conference of the winner’s choice. A nomination form is available online. Contact Scott Springmier with any questions.

Thanks for helping recognize the leaders in our industry.
