Moorim Group, South Korea, has appointed Kim Suk-man president of the company, effective December 2. Suk-man’s career with Moorim, an integrated producer of printing and writing papers, pulp, and specialty grades, began 33 years ago, during which time he was part of a team delivering "significant corporate milestones" for the Group. These have included the successful completion of Paper Machine No. 3 at Jinju Mill that modernized and strengthened the company, and the only integrated pulp and paper mill (Ulsan Mill) in South Korea.

In his inaugural speech (photo), Suk-man declared that Moorim needed new strategy and a differentiated business model for the growth of the company, and emphasized "create the Moorim Way with prompt decision making and mutual respect."
