KCM to Install New Tissue Machine at Bajio Mill in Mexico

Kimberly-Clark de México (KCM), the Mexican arm of Dallas, Texas, USA-based Kimberly-Clark, has announced that it will install a new tissue machine in Querétaro, central Mexico, to start up in the second quarter of 2014, according to a report by RISI, Boston, Mass., USA. RISI added that market sources report the project will include a Metso Advantage DCT 200-in.-wide tissue paper machine, with a capacity of approximately 65,000 metric tpy to be installed at KCM’s Bajío mill, located in the Mexican city of San Juan del Río, Querétaro state.

KCM currently operates three paper machines at the Bajío mill, which has a production capacity of some 210,000 metric tpy of tissue paper, according to the RISI report.
