Rottneros Group, Sweden, has relocated its head office from Stockholm to its Vallvik Mill (photo) in the Söderhamn Municipality, Gävleborg County, Sweden. Vallvik is one of the group's two pulp mills.

"In our latest interim report, we advised of the change process recently initiated within the Group. I consider that it is vital for Group management to be closer to our operations and consequently feel that our decision to relocate our head office to Vallvik Mill as part of this change process represents a logical step," Carl-Johan Jonsson (president and CEO), explained. The moving process will begin immediately.

Rottneros is an independent producer of market pulp. The Group includes the parent company Rottneros AB and its subsidiaries Rottneros Bruk AB and Vallviks Bruk AB, with operations involving the production and sale of market pulp. It also includes the wood procurement company Rottneros Baltic SIA in Latvia. The Group has around 300 employees and had a turnover of some SEK 1.5 billion in the 2012 financial year.
