PaperMax USA, Anaheim, Calif., USA, this week launched RainbowMax, a premium, heavyweight, carbonless paper. RainbowMax Carbonless has been uniquely formulated to provide superior performance and is guaranteed to run on both offset and digital platforms.

"RainbowMax has set a new standard for image speed and image quality," said Scott Ulrich, business unit manager, Carbonless Papers. "Our unique manufacturing capabilities allowed us to develop and produce dye capsules and coatings that result in a much faster and richer image. RainbowMax microencapsulation technology provides clear, deep images that are nearly immediate. Side-by-side lab tests versus the leading U.S. brands have shown RainbowMax image speed to be considerably faster. The result is a crisp, dark image, all the way down to the sixth ply."

To meet the varied demands of today’s printing technology, RainbowMax is manufactured to run clean, smooth, and flat on both offset and digital equipment. Its smooth surface and 92 brightness result in high print quality and performance. PaperMax also offers Rainbow Glue, a padding adhesive specifically formulated for use with RainbowMax Carbonless.

Carbonless paper is specially designed to transmit images from one ply to subsequent plies with manual or mechanical pressure, without using carbon paper. Carbonless paper can be used to create a variety of multi-part forms, such as credit applications, sales and delivery receipts, requisition forms, medical documents, parking tickets, etc.

PaperMax distributes a wide variety of printing, writing, specialty, and packaging paper through an extensive network of suppliers and facilities. More information about RainbowMax Carbonless Paper is available online.
