Burns Named President, CEO of DeZURIK

Larry Korf, former CEO of valve manufacturer DeZURIK Inc. Sartell, Minn., USA, announced the appointment of Bryan Burns to the position of president and CEO of DeZURIK, effective this past Monday, September 16. "Bryan has earned the leadership responsibility and has my full endorsement along with our owners and the board of directors," Korf said.

As part of a planned DeZURIK leadership transition, Korf will retain a position on the DeZURIK board and assist in the CEO transition period for the balance of 2013.

Burns joined DeZURIK in 2010 as VP of Operations and was promoted to COO in January 2012 and president and COO in March 2013. Previously, he was employed by the Brunswick Corp., where he was president of the Crestliner Division. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and earned his MBA from Duke University.
