Caraustar Increases Price of Uncoated Recycled Paperboard by $25 per Ton

Caraustar Industries Inc., Atlanta, Ga., USA, this week announced a price increase of $25 per ton on all uncoated recycled paperboard grades. The increase becomes effective starting with shipments on February 15. The increase is in response to increasing costs, including raw materials, energy, transportation, labor, and benefits, the company noted.
Caraustar is one of North America's largest integrated producers of 100% recycled paperboard and converted paperboard products. The company serves the four principal recycled boxboard product end-use markets: tubes and cores, folding cartons, gypsum facing paper, and specialty paperboard products.
