Brigl & Bergmeister Orders Andritz Film Press for Specialty Papers Mill in Slovenia

Brigl & Bergmeister, a producer of specialty papers for labels and flexible packaging, has ordered from Andritz, Graz, Austria, a PrimeCoat film press with an infrared drying system, for its Papirnica Vevce, Slovenia, mill. Startup is scheduled for 2013.
The PrimeCoat film press allows different pre-coatings and coat weights to be applied to each side of the paper web, at high machine speeds. In addition to the improved pre-coating quality for a wide range of coating applications, the Andritz technology increases the mill's annual output by 20,000 metric tpy, to 110,000 metric tpy.
