American Process launches new simulator for pulp and paper facilities

American Process, Inc. has launched apiMAX™ a process simulator to accurately simulate mass and energy balances in pulp and paper mills. apiMAX™ is offered in two versions – standard and professional. The standard version is available at no cost to pulp and paper facilities.

apiMAX™ provides a User-friendly interface that utulizes color to rapidly identify stream contents and proximity sensors to quickly glean data from the model. Also, the product includes easy construction of process flow sheets by dragging and dropping equipment onto the flow sheet from standard equipment libraries, simple and rapid process stream creation using the mouse or simply "bumping" two pieces of equipment together, a large library of pulp and paper and energy equipment and has simulation capability for biorefineries.
