Twin Rivers Paper Co., South Portland, Main, USA, a producer of lightweight specialty packaging, label, and publishing papers, has released a packaging swatchbook. The new swatchbook features a broad range of coated and uncoated papers designed for packaging applications that require PFOA-free grease-resistance, wet-strength, FDA compliance, printability, strength properties, and recycled content. Common applications for these packaging papers include sandwich wraps, basket liners, sugar packets, print-ply for multi-wall bags, theater popcorn bags, microwave popcorn bags, and much more.

The packaging swatchbook focuses on two primary brands—Acadia and Bladepak®. Acadia, an uncoated machine-finish paper, is available in 15 lb - 75 lb (24 x 36/500) basis weights and is known for its flexibility and functionality. Acadia offers grease-resistant properties and other options ideal for waxing, extruding, and laminating applications.

Bladepak, a coated, one-side (C1S) paper, is available in basis weights of 35 lb - 69 lb (24 x 36/500) and is also offered in standard and grease-resistant designs. It has printability, strength, and flex crack-resistant properties that are ideal for offset, flexography, and rotogravure printing processes.

Twin Rivers has operations in New Brunswick, Maine and Quebec. More information about the company and its new swatchbook is available online.
