U.S. Containerboard Output Down

U.S. containerboard production fell in April compared with March, with month over month average daily production down 0.6%, according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) U. S. Containerboard Statistics Report released this week. The containerboard operating rate for April 2011 was down 1.9 points over April 2010, to 93.4%. Additional key findings from the report include:
- Linerboard production decreased from last year
- Corrugating medium production fell slightly over April 2010.
