Print Print this article | Send to Colleague

TAPPI is pleased to announce the formation of a new International Nanotechnology Division focused on renewable materials. This announcement builds on the success and growth TAPPI's International Conference on Nanotechnology for Renewable Materials (June 6-8, 2011 in Washington DC – www.tappinano.org). This Division will focus on the advancements in research and development of cellulose nanomaterials, not only in traditional forest-based products such as pulp, paper and building materials, but also in coatings, plastics, digital displays, military body armors and medical implants. It will serve as a forum for knowledge sharing in the Nanotechnology industry. The division will be comprised of members who work for academia, government, consulting companies, producers, suppliers and others in the industry. To learn more or join this new division of TAPPI e-mail Mary Ann Cauthen, title, at mcauthen@tappi.org.
