Rayonier Names Manzer VP, Manufacturing Operations

William Manzer has joined Rayonier, Jacksonville, Fla., USA, as VP, manufacturing operations. Manzer will have overall operational responsibility for the Jesup, Ga., and Fernandina Beach, Fla., mills as well as the company's Georgia-based lumber operations.

"Bill's considerable manufacturing experience will bring immediate benefits to Rayonier," said Jack Kriesel, senior VP, Performance Fibers. "His expertise in operations, maintenance, and reliability will strengthen our ability to meet the growing demand for our specialty cellulose products."

Manzer brings more than 30 years of process manufacturing experience to Rayonier. Most recently, he was with Fraser Papers in Maine, where he served as SVP, business strategy and projects. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Maine, Orono.
