Munksjo to Acqauire ArjoWiggins' Specialty Paper Unit

Munksjo AB, Stockholm, Sweden, will acquire ArjoWiggins' specialty paper unit for EUR 95 million on a debt free basis. Munksjos says the acquisition is a natural step in its strategy to grow within specialty paper. The company notes that the acquisition includes production plants in Arches, France, and Dettingen, Germany. Munksjo will have net sales after the acquisition of some EUR 600 million, with about 1,750 employees.
