Frank Parsons's Fine Paper Division Now Part of Central National-Gottesman

The Lindenmeyr Munroe division of Central National-Gottesman Inc. (CNG), Purchase, N.Y., USA, has acquired the assets and business of Frank Parsons's Fine Paper Division, a leading independent paper merchant in the mid-Atlantic region.
Included in the purchase is the company's entire fine paper operation, with seven locations, and six wholesale paper stores.
Central National-Gottesman Inc., an international marketer of pulp and paper, expects to double its mid-Atlantic sales as a result of the acquisition. The company has sales offices in 28 U.S. cities and 20 countries. CNG operates several divisions, including Central National, a global provider of pulp, paper, and packaging, and Lindenmeyr, the largest independent paper distributor in the U.S. The company's sales of pulp and paper exceed $3.5 billion annually.
