Industrie Cartarie Tronchetti to Start New Tissue Line in 2011

The Industrie Cartarie Tronchetti Group, Lucca, Italy, is installing a new tissue line at its Montargis mill in France. The new line, from Metso, Finland, will include an Advantage DCT 200 machine with an OptiFlo II TIS multi-layer headbox, a Metso yankee cylinder, an Advantage AirCap hood, an Advantage WetDust dust management system, and an Advantage SoftReel reel. Metso is also supplying the stock preparation system and an automation package.
Industrie Cartarie Tronchetti Group's new machine is 5.6 meters wide and operates at a speed of 1,900 m/min. The machine will have a production capacity of 60,000 to 70,000 metric tpy of facial, toilet, and towel grades made from virgin pulp.
