New Report Examines U.S. Surface-Coated Paperboard Industry

Research and Market, Dublin, Ireland, has released a new report on the U.S. surface-coated paperboard manufacturing industry and its international trade. The surface-coated paperboard manufacturing industry includes companies that use laminating, lining, or surface coating of purchased paperboard to produce paperboard products.
Last year's revenue is estimated at $1.1 billion for the surface-coated paperboard manufacturing industry. Gross profit is estimated at 17.7%. In 2009, the industry was using 75% of its full production capacity. Working at full capacity, the industry could have increased its total shipment value to $1.5 billion.
The 169-page report includes market research on the industry's sales and shipment data. More than 40 industries are analyzed to provide insight into the supply chain cost structure, while more than 180 industries are analyzed for channel and pricing structure.
