The new FS folio sheeter, a joint development of E.C.H. Will, Hamburg, Germany, and Pemco, Sheboygan, Wis., USA, is especially designed to meet particular, growing needs of the Asian paper industry in regard to efficiency, flexibility, and quality. With its modular design, working widths from 1,800 to 2,400 mm, and wide variety of configurations from basic to specialized, the new sheeter enables regional or specialized paper mills and converters to act flexible and to easily adapt to different and evolving market needs.

The basic FS configuration is a solid machine with a best-in-class price-performance ratio that can be easily enhanced by different options to the machine concept or by later rebuilds or upgrades. A Manufacturing Execution System (MES) can be integrated to the sheeter to further enhance productivity throughout the whole plant. Additionally, the machine can be fitted with PRO technology from E.C.H. Will for mark-free sheeting of sensitive coated paper and board grades.

The Wrapmatic GRM folio-size ream wrapper from Pemco is the perfect companion to the FS folio sheeter, according to the joint developers. Being a high-performance automatic wrapper with a modular wrapping system and various options to meet any production requirement, the Wrapmatic GRM wrapper handles various ream sizes and all sorts of paper, also coated and carbonless, at a maximum speed of 17 reams/min.
