Weyerhaeuser Announces Hours of Bingham Forest Learning Center

Weyerhaeuser Co., Federal Way, Wash., USA, this week announced the 2010 hours of operation for the Charles W. Bingham Forest Learning Center at Mount St. Helens in Washington State. The Forest Learning Center will open the 2010 season on Friday, May 14, and remain open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through May 18, the 30th Anniversary of the Mount St. Helens eruption. Thereafter, the Forest Learning Center will be open three days a week, Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Learning Center will remain open through September 6. The Center and its indoor exhibits will also be open to the public on Memorial Day (Monday, May31), the Monday following Fourth of July (July 5), and Labor Day (September 6). In addition, the gift shop, restrooms, and Center's outdoor facilities will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) rest area hours will mirror the hours of operation for the gift shop. The hours and days that the Forest Learning Center will be open to the public in 2010 are similar to the Center's operating posture in 2009.
