PaperCon Keynoters Challenge Paper Industry from End User Perspective

Attendees at PaperCon 2010, May 2 -4, at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, Atlanta, Ga., USA, will be treated to  Impact, will deliver his presentation titled "It Takes a Village - Starbucks Quest for the Recyclable Cup." Hanna will provide an overview of Starbucks efforts to significantly reduce its environmental footprint  through energy and water conservation, recycling, and green construction. He will also discuss Starbucks aim to achieve recyclability or compostability - in form and in practice - for all of its single-use cups by 2012. Hanna joined Starbucks in 2005, leading the company's initiatives to minimize its environmental impact through green building, energy conservation, international procurement, waste minimization, and collaboration with partner corporations and NGOs.

On Monday, May 3, Nina B. Link, president and CEO of the Magazine Publishers of America (MPA), will kick off the third annual pulp and paper conference with her keynote presentation focused on "Magazine Publishing: Looking Forward." In her presentation, Link will explore the disruption and transformation of the magazine industry brought about by technology and changing consumer and advertising demands. Joining MPA as president and CEO in 1999, Link has applied her depth of knowledge in several areas of the consumer magazine industry, She has reinvigorated the organization through highly strategic plans in key areas such as government affairs, advertising, circulation, and promotion and professional development.
