Mohawk Introduces All-Encompassing Swatchbook

Mohawk Fine Paper, Cohoes, N.Y., USA, has introduced a new swatchbook known as Mohawk Loop, which it notes contains "the largest collection of premium environmental papers in the world." With Mohawk Loop, the company adds that there is "no more wading through piles of swatchbooks looking for the right recycled content, trying to decipher all of the environmental logos and claims, searching for a PCW offering with contemporary colors, or crossing product lines in an attempt to coordinate a complete system."

The new line merges Mohawk Synergy, Mohawk Genesis, Mohawk Passport, and Mohawk Proterra with new Mohawk Loop shades and finishes. It includes 35 shades (with 95-bright white), 21 shades with 100% PCW content, six finishes (including the new 50% PCW Silk Coated finish), weights from 24 lb to 160 lb douible thick cover and a new 18 pt. folding board, new 100% PCW Inxwell with i-Tone, and envelopes stocked in commercial and announcement sizes in a range of shades. FSC-certified Mohawk Loop is made with Green-e certified windpower, made carbon neutral through the purchase of Verified Emission Reduction credits (Vers), and is packaged in Mohawk's new environmental preferable packaging materials.
