O-I Names Batra VP, Chief Procurement Officer

Owens-Illinois Inc., Perrysburg, Ohio, USA, has named Radhika Batra VP and chief procurement officer. Batra will be responsible for leading O-I's global strategic sourcing function and driving synergies across the company's regional operations to maximize buying power. Batra joins O-I from Solutia Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of chemical and engineered materials, where she was VP of business process in the CPFilms segment. Previously, she served as VP of supply chain and global procurement at Solutia.
