PaperCon 2010: Coating Program Addresses Market Trends, Technology

The TAPPI Coating Graphic Arts Committee has organized an exceptional program for PaperCon 2010, May 2-4 in Atlanta, Ga. Invited expert speakers and peer-reviewed papers will address factors changing the demand for coated grades, such as sustainability, consumer advertising, digital printing, and barrier coating performance. A strong peer-reviewed program will also provide information and case studies on practical aspects such as coater runnability, machine instrumentation, and for the first time, a session on safety. These critical areas are supported by the coating structure, offset printing, and flexographic printing subjects traditionally found at the Coating Conference. Altogether, some 10 paper producer and supplier companies and five major world universities are providing speakers for these sessions. The full program and speakers are available online.
