Plum Creek Names Jirsa, Hobbs, Tucker to VP Slots

Plum Creek Timber Co., Seattle, Wash., USA, this past week named Bob Jirsa as VP, government relations. Jirsa will continue to oversee the company's government relations program. The company also named John Hobbs as VP, investor relations; and Dan Tucker as VP, tax. Hobbs will continue to lead the company's investor relations function and Tucker will continue to lead its tax department.

Jirsa joined Plum Creek in 1994 as director, corporate affairs. Prior to that, he was with Alaska Airlines, serving as VP of public affairs, and with ARCO as director of government affairs. Hobbs joined Plum Creek in 2001 as director of investor relations, previously having served as director of investor relations with Georgia Pacific in Atlanta, Ga. Tucker joined Plum Creek in 1998 as director of tax. Prior to that, he was a senior tax manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young. Plum Creek is the largest and most geographically diverse private landowner in the nation with approximately 7 million acres of timberlands in major timber producing regions of the U.S. and wood products manufacturing facilities in the Northwest.
