Mitsubishi Ups Prices for Matt Coated Inkjet Papers

Mitsubishi HiTec Paper, Bielefeld, Germany, will increase prices for its matt coated "jetscript" inkjet papers, worldwide, by 5%. The price adjustment applies to orders beginning February 1. The company points out that prices for raw materials have been increasing for some time, and that so far it has absorbed these additional costs and was "offering a stable price level" to its customers. After cost increases of the past months, however, "this is now no longer possible and a price adjustment is inevitable," Mitsubishi added.
