Annual Membership Meeting 2014 Recap

NEPPA held its Annual Membership Meeting on November 7, 2014 at the NEPPA Training Center in Littleton, MA. The meeting was well attended by members of the Northeast Public Power Association including utilities and affiliates from all around New England. 

The meeting began with Calvin Ames, NEPPA’s President, welcoming the group and delivering his President’s report. Following that Calvin was joined by Mark Kelly to go over the by-law changes. Afterwards, Kristin DiGirolamo, NEPPA’s Controller, presented the 2015 Association Budget. Mike Kirkwood, NEPPA’s Treasurer, informed us of the change in NEPPA’s investment strategy and policy. Then Larry Brownell, NEPPA’s Executive Director, delivered the 2015 business plan for NEPPA. Sharon Staz gave the legislative activities update and the 2015 outlook for NEPPA followed by Mike Cloutier addressing the group about the recent revival of the 2014 rodeo. Lastly, Mark Kelly spoke about the 50th anniversary plans for 2015.

Just prior to lunch, the affiliates who had elected to do so had the chance to stand up in front of the group and share what their companies do and what they can offer the utilities.

Afterwards, everyone had lunch and visited with the affiliates who had set up their booths in the garage.
