This month marks the end of the year for our chapter. I hope that you will join us on Thursday, June 16 for our Evening of Stars Reception at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill. We will be celebrating all of our successes during this past year as a chapter and we'll recognize those who have stood out among us and have helped us achieve all of these amazing accomplishments. I am so grateful to be a part of this amazing chapter and I have been honored to serve as your 2010-2011 chapter president. The Professional Photographers Society of Greater Washington (PPSGW) was selected to provide the artwork for an exhibition recently installed at Dulles International Airport. The exhibit "Washington: More than Monuments" will run through December 31. Our PMPI member of long standing, Bob Blanken, PPSGW president, is represented with 15 of the 44 images in the collection. The exhibit can be seen by travelers in the Gateway Gallery between the AeroTrain C-gates and Concourse C. The images include nature landscapes of Rock Creek Park in fall, the Mall, various sculptures around town as well as lesser known locations.
