Thoughtful Treasures: A Mailbox Project for the Children’s Inn

The Thoughtful Treasures project brings many moments of happiness to the children and their siblings. During their stay at the Children’s Inn, each child is presented a mailbox treasure each day. These items can be different things - each one lifting spirits, bringing smiles, laughter, and a wonderful surprise. It is encouraged that groups or individuals make donations of 75 items for the children’s mailboxes.

Mailbox size: 5" x 5" x 15"

Project ideas: Stickers, puzzle books, hand puppets, crayons, craft projects, etc.

News and Announcements

Sekeno was selected to co-chair the Industry Designations committee at a critical juncture when we were beginning to organize the Fall Study Course for the CMP. She completely overhauled and brought new rigor to the course which has been received with positive results. Through her work, she recruited and selected two facilitators to each class (including the CMP Course Coordinator with the CIC), held a facilitator training/expectations session, partnered in the creation of a weekly survey, and has attended a number of the courses to observe for future enhancements. The feedback received from both facilitators and participants has been overwhelmingly positive! Thank you Sekeno!

According to Merriam-Webster, a "star" is defined as "an outstandingly talented performer in a particular field or profession". As our membership continues to break record numbers, PMPI shines brighter with each new PMPI Star contributing their talents and hard work to the success of our chapter.

In an effort to recognize PMPI members who have put forth that "extra effort" as an active member, the Member Recognition Committee has established the PMPI Shining Star program. We encourage ALL our chapter members to consider nominating your peers for this special recognition. To do so simple complete the nomination form below. We will recognize our shining stars on a quarterly basis

Just a friendly little reminder of the Shining Star Award 3rd Quarter Deadline! Our Chapter isn't at the top of MPI for no reason...we have fantastic and engaged members!

Please take a minute to think of your committee members that help make your lives easier with our chapter tasks and responsibilities.
NOMINATIONS WELCOME!

Please review the PMPI Shining Star program with your committee members and help us generate nominations for many of our very deserving volunteer members.

Download the form, complete it, and send it to Jessica La Vay! Take a moment to nominate ASAP – deadline for submission will be March 15th - so get your nomination in early!

For every new member you recruit to join PMPI, you’ll receive an entry into a drawing for an all-expenses paid trip to Hollywood, California! When you recruit a new member, tell them to insert your name or MPI Member Number on the membership application they submit. Send an email to info@pmpi.org with the name of the new member and you’ll be entered into the drawing! It’s that easy!

So start telling your friends and colleagues about the benefits of joining PMPI...it could just be your ticket to Hollywood.
