Seed Hawk Receives Carbon Footprint Certification

Print Print this Article | Send to Colleague

When Seed Hawk began, one of its foundational principles was environmental sustainability. As we have grown and developed, we have stayed true to that foundation, advocating for conservational agricultural practices everywhere we do business.

We are pleased to share Seed Hawk’s most recent efforts as environmentally responsible global citizens. Seed Hawk has become the first agricultural equipment manufacturer to obtain carbon footprint certification from the internationally respected Carbon Trust, a UK-based environmental standards organization.

Seed Hawk worked with a third-party organization, the Saskatchewan Research Council, to conduct Life Cycle Analysis on the Seed Hawk 45 Series, XL Series and 30 Series. It is the first step in attaining an accurate picture of the environmental impact our machinery can have over its lifetime. Carbon certification is quickly becoming a significant factor in agricultural decisions in several markets around the world.

You can read more about our carbon certification in the news released attached.

Thank you for sharing our vision of sustainable agriculture.
