Celebrating Safety in the Workplace

The goal of Safety Week is to focus employers, employees, partners and the public on the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace, at home, and in the community.
In support of Safety week, OGCA members have organized many high profile events, including educational sessions related to Health and Safety, as well as the Safety Pass.
This year’s theme is “The Power of Safe Choices.” In addition to the public events this week, OGCA has received safety messages from its members and others, including the Hon. Kevin Flynn and Clive Thurston.
In Ontario, we recognize forward-thinking companies that are trying to be part of the cultural shift in safety. We encourage other companies to be aware of the strides being made and become part of the momentum that will excel Ontario’s safety record from the bottom to the top of the list in provincial safety. Together, we can make health and safety work!
